Today: AM – Rev. Douglas MacKeddie
Sunday School, Pre-school class and crèche meet this morning. Children leave after the second singing.
PM – Join with Tain for the Tain Communion. The visiting preacher over this weekend is Rev. David Meredith, who is Missions Director for the Free Church. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at the evening service. This will be followed by fellowship in the hall at which Mr Meredith will share some of his life story.
The following people have been added to the communion role of the congregation: Jan Garscadden, Dugald MacArthur, David and Anne Wilkie.
Monday: The Free Lunch will run in Hilton from 12 noon. Come along with a friend! Speak to Mary or Donna if you would like to go on the list of helpers.
Wednesday: This week is the Seaboard Joint Prayer Meeting and that will be in the APC at 7:30pm.
The Women’s Bible Study will not resume until after the October Holidays.

Seaboard Hall Fund–Raiser: Thanks to all who contributed or helped out. The sum of £222 was raised.
Highland Foodbank: During the month of September we will have the Harvest Appeal collection. There will be a box in the church for donations of the following items–Oatcakes/ Crackers, Long Life Fruit Juice, Tinned Ham, Tinned Rice Pudding, Pasta sauces.
COG: The Christian Outreach Group in Tain will be on Wednesday 28th September between 9.30 and 10.30 am at the Youth Cafe in Tain.
New Church Fund: There will be an opportunity to contribute to the New Church Fund after both services next Sunday.
Protected Study Time: The Kirk-Session recently agreed that the minister should have protected study time. For that reason, they ask that the congregation avoid visiting the manse during mornings unless the matter is urgent. You are most welcome to visit at any other time.
Northern Convention: The Northern convention begins in Dingwall tonight and runs until Thursday evening. The speakers this year are Rev. Robin Sydserff of Chalmers Church Edinburgh and Rev. Sandy Roger of Brucefield Church of Scotland in Whitburn, West Lothian. All the meetings are in Castle Street Church. The evening meetings from Monday to Thursday are all at 7:30pm and the speaker at each of these nights is Rev. Sandy Roger.
